TPA3156D2: SLOM445.TSC TPA3156D2 simulation by TINA

Simulate as is SLOM445.TSC by TINA-TI

I try to simulate SLOM445.TSC as is but got message  “operation point not found”

First of all I need “AC transfer characteristic”    please help (may be I should change analysis parameter? )

    What's circuit on TINA? and what's the error message report? can you share the snap screen?

  • Thank for fast response. Default configuration of TPA3156D2 TINA-TI Reference Design SLOM445.TSC from Ti and fresh installation of TINA-Ti.

    same result for :

    Top menu-  Analysis ->DC analysis

    “Calculate nodal voltage”            got message  “operation point not found”

    “Table of DC result”                      got message  “operation point not found”

    “Transient”                                    don’t move from 0% during 30 min

    I download the project you attached, and simulate on my PC.

    I did not find any error report without any change.

    So I do not know the root cause of your case.

    Maybe you can re-install TINA and check again.

  • Thank you for respond. I did, reinstall TINA and SLOM445.

    It seems you SLOMM445  different from my, because you transient simulation from 0 to 500us, but my (default) from 500us to 1.5ms 

    Transient simulation and Fourier pass OK,

        But  other simulation not so good (by the way on your picture I can see "DC iteration number 2289", but in my case faille happen after 17800, please wait)

    I produced your issue now, let me check and give you reply when find root cause.

    Since this audio amplifier circuit is PWM switching circuit and signal pass loop is AC signal, so this circuit is not suitable for DC and AC analysis.

    You can do simulation using Transient, you can define the time region. 500us to 1.5ms Transient simulation can pass, even it cost long time.
