In the avionics sector, for the safety of the equipment, both for the civil sector by EASA and for the military sector, each component, both HW and SW, is expected to comply with stringent control conditions in its development in order to guarantee its safety.
This type of work eventually obtains approval from a specific certification.
To achieve this, each part of the SW, as well as the tools for its development must either be developed with this procedure or possess a certification kit themselves, e.g. corresponding to Do178C or Do254.

The driver C files are guideline driver codes to speed up the validation of the part for customers.

Customers can use the code as it is, validate the function, and further apply for the certification themselves.
