OPA1678: OPA1678IDR marking

Hi Cathy,

Pleas send us the images of OPA1678IDR parts in questions.  If these parts are purchased from TI store or the TI Authorized distributors, you do not have to worry about it. 

How can i send you photo  to show my question

There are two ways that you are able to upload images or pictures. 

1. Use "Snipping Tool" in Windows OS, cut a desired image and paste (Ctrl+V) directly within the text of the inquiry. The image is directly uploaded. 

2. Alternatively, you may find the tool bar on the bottom of the inquiry, Press Insert --> Select Image/Photo/files --> Upload files on your computer and Press OK.

I sent your inquiry to our Customer Quality Team, and they suggest to file a request with the following instructions. 

In order for TI to begin the verification process all of the following information is required.  Please provide the required information to ti-counterfeit@list.ti.com.

Required information

1. Completed Counterfeit Request Form. 
2. High quality pictures of the bottom & top of the device(s)
3. High quality pictures of the 2D bar code labels.  
4. Copies/pictures of shipping documents, i.e. packing slip showing the origin of the devices to TI.  (If this information cannot be provided we are unable to provide verification due to uncertainties regarding chain of custody of the products.) 
5. Provide device application.

Once the required information is provided and submitted, your request will be reviewed for verification.

• Important Note: The attachment size limit for the group address (ti-counterfeit@list.ti.com) is 1MB.                        

• TI strongly encourages you to purchase all your TI parts either directly from TI or from authorized TI distributors (http://focus.ti.com/docs/general/distribcountryresults.jhtml) and not from the gray market or brokers

Please be aware that any purchases through the gray market, brokers or unauthorized distribution cannot be supported due to uncertainties in the supply chain regarding chain of custody of the products. All other verification requests must be worked through their supply chain.

Please follow the request procedures (from the prior reply), if the OPA1678IDR ICs are purchased from TI stores or authorized TI distributors. I hope that this helps.
