PCM5242: Need driver support for PCM5242RHB.

Hi Team,

We are integrating one new DAC PCM5242RHB with imx8mm in Android 11 code base. Could you please share kernel driver and I2C info for the same.

IMPORTANT: SHARE DRIVER FILE FOR THE DAC AND I2C ADDRESS.

We would like to know following things for the codec and DAC:

1. Volume control for both.

2. Device tree configuration examples.

3. Power control .

4. Kernel drivers and I2C addresses .

5. Mixer path settings

Hello Divyesh, I can provide you some information for the DACs which I support.

All available drivers are in this link and if you can not find what you are looking for, you need to modify one of the available ones. We do not support drivers .

I am not sure if you laready looked at the users guide or not, You can also refer to the user's guide

please refer to section 8.6.3.7 (Master Volume Control ) and 8.7.3 (Digital Volume Control) where a basic digital volume control with range from 24 dB to -103 dB and mute is available on each channels by Page 0, Resister 61, D(7:0) for L-ch and Register 62, D(7:0) for R-ch. Also Table 27. Mono Mixer Coefficients has some information you might find useful.
