Hi team,

What are the limitations of using TAS5717 for Dolby ATMOS post-stage 2.1 channel output?

9W*2 for main 10W*1 for subwoofer

Hi Jason

Do you mean the power limitation for 5717? There should be no problem to give 2*10W in BTL and 20W for PBTL.

Anything else my customer need to know? if they want to use TAS5717 for Dolby ATMOS post-stage 2.1 channel output?

Could you tell me what is BTL and PBTL?

Hi Jason

BTL is using one 5717 to driven two speaker, and PBTL is only driven one speaker. They are all in the datasheet. As long as our customer follow the datasheet, there should be no special problems.
