TAS3251EVM: Doesn't connect to PPC3

Hi,

I have my TAS3251EMV and my PPC3 and I cannot get the USB connection to work.

I'm also trying to do some measurements without connecting the EVM to the PC as per the EVM datasheet says below, but I cannot find the “PROG SEL” button on my EVM. It looks like the EVM datasheet and my actual PCB don't 100% match. Hence nothing works, I don't have any audio on the outputs.

Could you please help me to connect this EVM to the PC? I've been using PPC3 before and other digital amps from TI. I have the impression that a driver could be missing on my Windows 10 PC, but please let me know if you have any suggestions.

There is a USB ready light(D1), it shows the XMOS device(the usb to i2c/i2s interface) is operating. if this light is off, then you can not operate the device.

have you tried a different PC, you might need to replace the EVM if the USB ready light is not connected.

Also about the PROG SEL button, you should find like below graph, if you don't have this button, maybe the version of your board is too old.

Hi,

I definitely don't have that PROG SEL button. But it should be a way to connect to PPC3 via USB. The EVM is brand new and I received it from TI maybe 2 months ago, it should not be that old. I tried with a different PC and I've got the same results. It seems to me that a driver is missing. Can you provide the USB driver of this EVM? also can you confirm that the PPC3 version and EVM version are up to date? thanks
