TPA3118D2: Dual IC with a single speaker (mono)

Hello,

I'm interested in designing a dual mono amp using two TPA3118D2 ICs. The goal is to approach 100W output into a single speaker.

The data sheet is excellent and makes it clear that one chip be configured as the master and one as the slave using the SYNC signal. I have also read some other posts here that recommended adding additional filtering to the SYNC line.

But how should the outputs be connected and filtered to get additional power into the speaker? Is this even possible?

I know I can use the TPA32xx family or the TPA3116D2 to reach 100W but these are harder to find chips at the moment.
