Page 3 mentioned comp pin as output however it should be input.

Please help for this conflict?

I found the post below but in page 9, COMP pin is connected to emitter.

Also from description, it shows that it control, so consider as input like pin 8.

Hey Ray Vincent,

The COMP and COMP/BAL pins are the parallel connection for the 12pF compensation cap in the page 9 functional block diagram. Does it impact the application if this is an input or an output? It could either be considered an input to the compensation or an output of the transistor.

Just for understanding there are sometimes pin mentioned as output like this case and other case mentioned as input, on same project, so we can get information this pin is input from user view as will used to control. Can we apply this information on all this project parts regardless datasheet mentioned it as output?

I will consult with the systems team on the correct nomenclature for this and see if it should be corrected in the datasheet. I will keep you updated on their response.
