Hi Team,

Due to procurement challenges our customer is considering to use the TLV320AIC3254 in lieu for their TLV320AIC3204 design. Apparently the only difference them is the embedded miniDSP for AIC3254. We're wondering if it is possible to deactivate the miniDSPs part in AIC5254? If yes, do we have any reference guide or document about it?

    Hi,

    miniDSP allows user to implement a specific algorithm if there's a need so yes they can use without the miniDSP.

    They don't have to enable/disable, if there's a specific algorithm they will need to download from a software otherwise it's not used.
