Could you help check if the volume and mute could be controlled via USB on PCM2903C in addition to HID pins?

Hi,

This device is of USB audio interface so once enumerated the volume and mute are controlled through the PC audio settings.

I am not familiar with USB audio interface, so the mute and volume control could only be configured via HIDx pins on this device, right?

Yes which is tied to USB audio interface.
