TAS2505-Q1: vs TAS2505 as drop-in replacement

Currently using the TAS2505-Q1 but we are not able to procure any at this time. It looks like the Automotive Diagnostics is the main difference between the TAS2505-Q1 and TAS2505. If we don't need the Automotive Diagnostics, would the TAS2505 work as a drop-in alternate part for TAS2505-Q1? We are considering placing both on our BOM.

Hi Steve,

TAS2505 and TAS2505-Q1 are functionally the same, they share the same pinout and register map. However if automotive qualification is required then only the Q1 device should be used.

Thank you for the quick response. Our application isn't automotive (AQ not required) so we will specify both on our BOM.
