Hello,

Is there a way to run the ACEV-1B with tlv320aic3120 without the codec-control GUI? I.e. as standalone USB sound card?

If is not possible, what will happen if the board is connected to the PC and the codec is initialised with external I2C master (Arduino)? Can I get the sound to the PC or TAS1020 requires something else to run?

Hi,

I think this is also asked by Jorgen and since you have external I2C host that will configure the part you don't need to open the GUI.

Since the board is connected and enumeration has taken place, you can write the device configuration through external I2C host and the audio steaming should continue to work.
