PUREPATHCONSOLE: Regarding the absence of a file format selection frame in Audio Player

Currently, I am trying to output sound from speakers using PUREPATH-CMBEVM, TAS5806MEVM.
I want to read and play a wav file using purepath console3's Audio Player, but there is no frame to select the format of the audio file.

Maybe because you're using windows 10?

I would like to know how to deal with this.

Hello Takeru,

You can simply use Audacity or similar external audio software to play audio when the device is configured in USB mode audio input. You don't need to use the PPC3 Audio player.

However, I want to use PPC3's equalizer, etc., to play the sound through the speaker while changing the audio output.

eq adjustment can also work even using audacity playing audio.

you can play audio with audacity and adjust the ppc3 at the same time.

I understand playing audio while using EQ.
However, I am currently trying to play sound using Windows Media Player, which is the standard audio player for windows, but no sound is coming out of the speakers.
Do I need to install audio software such as Audacity?

Hello Takeru,

Typically we would recommend Audacity, but the main need to play audio is to make sure you are selecting the right output and input device in your windows settings while the device is powered on and active. Audacity makes it easy to select these options.
