LM4871: Need support in calculating the power supply required

Dear team,

I am planning to use LM4871MX for my design. I am planning to operate the device at 3.3V and device is expected to drive at 8ohms loads.

How much current should be supplied at 3.3v rails for proper operation.

    Hi Amal,

    You can estimate the power supply requirements based on the data from power dissipation vs output power plot in D/S Figure 20. Adding both the dissipated and output power you estimate the total power consumed by the amplifier, then based on supply V you can calculate supply A.
