PCM1791A audio DAC Delta-Sigma Oversampling Rate Selection Question

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1791A

Dear TI audio IC designers,

1.   What is the PCM1791A IC Delta-Sigma Minimum Oversampling Rate can you recommend for the following IC conditions and preserve high IC performance?:

Sampling frequency is fs=44.1kHz.
The PCM1791A IC output LPFs are such as at the datasheet Figure 36. Typical Application for Analog Output Stage (page 34).
The system clock is 256 fs selected.

The datasheet 31 page states that as an application example it is possible to use only a single type (cutoff frequency) LPF for the Delta-Sigma Oversampling Rate =128*fs and fs=44.1kHz.
But the datasheet Figure 36. Typical Application for Analog Output Stage shows SECOND order LPFs (not single type).

The datasheet 31, 15 pages are to refer too.

2.   What is the minimum PCM1791A IC system clock can be for your recommendation from question 1?

3.   It is possible to use the system clock of 256 fs if the 128*fs oversampling rate is selected and fs=44.1kHz?

Sincerely,

Alexander M.
