PUREPATHCONSOLE: [EQ/FIR Filter] About the difference between BQ Structure and 128Tap FIR Filter

I would like to ask about the following three things about "BQ Structure (the graphical one on the left side of the GUI)" and "128 Tap FIR Filter" in the Equalizer/FIR Filter GUI.

・Are these differences only in operability?
・If I want to filter the input signal, can I use only one of them?
・When using these two filters, in what situations are they suitable?

They are just different type of the audio filter, no big difference.

Only use one of them is fine.

For most of the time, use the BQ would be fine, we designed them very easy to use. Some of our customer may want to build the filter by themselves, could use FIR filter function and upload the coefficient. You man also follow below link to check the difference between IR and FIR filters.
