TAS6584-Q1: TAS6584-Q1: I2S interface - FSYNC voltage is unexpectedly when connected to TAS6584

We are currently testing TAS6584 in our application design, but are unable to get it to pass audio.

The problem seems to be that FSYNC is becoming attenuated at pin 6 of the TAS6584; at this pin the signal is clamped at ~0.7V.

We have ruled out the PCB as the cause of this - driving pin 6 directly from our DSP's I2S FSYNC pin through a jumper wire we see the same attenuation, see the photo below.

Taking that same signal and applying it to the pin 2 of J9 on the TAS6584 Eval board does not attenuate the signal as in the photo below.

Is there some register setting or fault condition the amp that causes this signal to become clamped like this?
