We are using TLV320AIC20K in our design. Codec McBSP lines interfaced with TMS320C6655 DSP to drive the speaker output. And other usage like MIC, Headset input, Headset output and Line input are not used. We made those pins as NC. But while DOUT pin we saw some signal output, so we want to know do we need to terminate the unused pins?

The below attached snap is for your reference. We used Speaker output only so do we need to connect the MIC, Line, Headset, Handset and caller ID input to GND through 0.1uF. And what about headset and handset output signals. Is there anything need to be done for MICBIAS also? And we disabled the ADC section by using registers. After that also we evident the signal output on DOUT pin.

Handset, headset, and MIC are all analog input signals and should have cap to GND if unused. Correction to my original comment we typically recommend 0.47uF cap. Analog outputs (outputs from DAC) can be left unconnected.
