Hello,
Is it possible for this board to automatically switch the output bit and sample rate to match the incoming bit and sample rate? Or do you need to manually change the switch settings when incoming sample rates change?
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Kike, you need to manually set SW002 . Please refer to Table 1 and 2 in the EVM users guide for the needed position of these switches.

If you manually set to SW002 will it automatically follow the bit depth and sample frequency of the input? Or do you need to change this switch setting when the incoming bit depth and sample rate changes?
Hi Mike,
Arash is out until Wednesday, but you should change the switch if your new bit and sample rate don't match the current settings. Otherwise the output should update with the input.

Mike, It is a 24bit input depth data bit and fs can change from 28-kHz to 108-kHz . the switch sets the output clks per table 2 so if fs changes it will change the output clks as well with the ratio that you set with the switch.

So if I’m listening to a track that is 16/44.1, and then another track comes on that is 24/192, the same switch setting will allow both tracks to play bit perfect at the incoming rate?
