TPA3116D2-Q1: Please help recommend audio speaker and CODEC.

Hi team,

My customer want to use our audio device.

And the requirements are as below:

1.Analog Speaker amps: Automotive; Power supply is 3.3V or 5V; Output power needed is 28W; One SPK.  I have recommended TPA3116D2-Q1.

2.CODEC: Automotive; Power supply is 3.3V or 5V; Both ADC and DAC; One MIC +one SPK.  I have recommended TLV320AIC3109-Q1.

But they think the device I recommended are both STEREO. They wonder if we have some device for MONO?

Could you please help recommend these two device for MONO?

And if we don't have, could you please check if we have some other mainly popularize devices which can meet their requirements?

    Hi Brian

       I think your recommendation would be no problem. For audio device, stereo is the most common design, and also support mono using. Seldom see device only support mono, it's application scope is too narrow. Like TPA3116D2-Q1, could be used as PBTL mode, to support mono. And PBTL maybe the total power is a little large for customer using, maybe could consider TPA3118 or TPA3130, also in PBTL mode.
