Can this device support 8ohm speak in PBTL mode? And how much output power can be supported? Thanks.

    Hi Zach.

    Because your load is fixed 8ohm, so output power is only related to output voltage.

    Max PVDD voltage of  TAS5822 is 26.4V, so the max current is 26.4/8=3.3A (peak value, Ideal case without considering Rdson). The BTL mode is sufficient, and the minimum peak value of the output current of the PBTL can reach 12A.

    The max output power is 8*(3.3/1.414)^2=43.56W(will actually be smaller than this value).
