TAS5825M: Hearable noise from TAS5825M output

Part Number: TAS5825M

Hi,

In our product, the TAS5825M receives I2S signal from a wireless audio module, the sample rate of the input I2S is 46.87KHz.

When the audio source stops play, the I2S carries a low noise, the level is approximately -90dBFS.

But in this situation, the TAS5825M output has an obvious noise that can be heard from 1 meter away.

The power supply level of the TAS5825M is 20V, max output power is 30W@4Ohm, the noise RMS level is 1.2mV

Could you please give some advice on how we should check the problem?

Thanks!

  • Hi

for amp amplify any input signal been inputted.

if your i2s has noise when stop playing, it would be better to find how to reduce the noise at i2s.

if your i2s noise cannot be removed, it would be better to set device to hiz mode so that noise cannot been heard.

    tks.
