TLV320AIC3104-Q1: ADC Differential input full-scale AC signal voltage

Hi TI,

For TLV320AIC3104-Q1 the datasheet only show "Single-ended Input signal level", what is the Differential input full-scale AC signal voltage?

Hello Junsong,

The full-scale differential value is 2xSingle ended, or 1.414Vrms. Please note that when using differential configuration, the single-ended voltage that each pin will take is still 0.707, however, 0dB value will only happen at 1.414 (or 0.707 differential to both input pins).

Hi Andrew,

Could you go detail, what is the difference of the two input resistance as below screenshot show:

And for our application which value should we choose to calculate the low cutoff bandwidth?

Hello Junsong,

In the second line, the programable gain amplifier (PGA) is set to -12dB. To accomplish this the effective input impedance is changed from 20k to 80k as shown in the datasheet.

To decide on which value to use for your calculation, please see what the input PGA is set to in Page 0, Register 17.
