TLV320AIC3268: Demo Board

Part Number: TLV320AIC3268

A few questions:

  1. Does a demo board exist for this device?
  2. Are there Linux drivers available?
  3. Is there any graphical support software to help set registers?

Thank you.

  • Hi Michael,

Thank you for reaching out. All of this information is available on the device product page on ti.com. TLV320AIC3268 data sheet, product information and support | TI.com.

    1. Demo Board: Unfortunately, this device no longer has an EVM. You can use a similar device like the TLV320AIC3262 which does have an EVM. It should also be possible to remove the AIC3262 and install the AIC3268 if necessary. You can also find the EVM user's guide and supporting documentation for both devices under the "technical documentation tab" of both devices.
    2. Linux drivers: under the "design and development" tab
    3. GUI support:  under the "design and development" tab. You can use Pure Path Console to load TLV320AIC3268 Scripts (Rev. A)

    Best,
    Andrew

  • Thank you for the quick reply.

You mentioned it should also be possible to remove the AIC3262 and install the AIC3268. However, the AIC3268 comes in a VQFN and the AIC3262 comes in a BGA.

Were you thinking about a different board?

  • Michael,

Sorry, I did not check the package type. It looks like there are no other EVMs 0with a 64 pin VQFN option. I will close this issue for now and update this post if I find anything.

    Best,
    Andrew
