Hello,
We order the part of TLC320AC02IFN, and there are no locating holes on the part.
Can you suggest to us whether the parts are good?
Thanks,
Gloria.

Hello Gloria,
Thank you for reaching out. Please allow me some time to reach out to the team to provide guidance here.
In the meantime, could you provide a picture of the top of the package?
Best,
Andrew
Hello Andrew,
Pls check the top of the package, As data sheet show, there should be two holes, but there is only 1.
Thanks,
Gloria
Hello Gloria,
Thank you for the added information. I have reached out to our packaging team, however responses are slow because of the U.S. Holiday tomorrow. I will hopefully be able to get back to you on Wednesday.
However, I can confirm that the parts in this thread do not match the package drawings that I have access to. Have you bought these parts from TI.com or a licensed distributor?
If you suspect that you have counterfeit parts, please follow the steps on Anti-counterfeit | Quality policies & procedures to create a new case with our Customer Support Center.
Best,
Andrew
Hello Gloria,
The packaging team got back to me, and it seems like the circles are from the mold injection machine. We would expect the holes to be there normally.
Since these devices are from an approved TI vendor (DigiKey) these devices should be good.
However, if you ever feel the need to check a TI part for authenticity, the safest bet would be to follow your gut and submit a TI counterfeit inquiry.
Best,
Andrew
