Hello TI Team ,

We are planning to use the TLV320AIC3100 part to drive the speaker at 0.7W can you please check the below details for speaker :

Audio Codec With Mono Class‑D Amplifier is over requirement 

Please suggest this part is suitable for this requirement if not please suggest other part that is suitable for this requirement

    Thank you for reaching out. The following speaker is a good selection for the AIC3100. You should be able to control the gain of the CODEC and limit the output of the Class-D amplifier into the speaker. This can be accomplished by setting the gain in a way that won't over drive the speaker or with the AGC feature.  

    You can also look into one of our smart amps like TAS2781 which features a speaker protection algorithm.
