If we do not have one device solution, can you recommend a multiple device solution?

Have you taken a look at the speaker amps portfolio?

The NJM2792 is a fairly complex device to replicate with discrete op amps however it's possible one of the devices above would be a suitable solution that is integrated. If one of those devices looks reasonable we could put you in contact with the support team that handles the speaker amplifiers for car audio.
There is a nice graphic to help narrow down some of the solutions on the page. You will want to look at the stereo amps, left/right in and left/right out.
