SRC4190: compared with SRC4192

Part Number: SRC4190
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SRC4192EVM, , SRC4192

Hello Experts,

My customer has question as follows. Would you answer it, please?
1. Regarding EVM, customer would like to evaluate SRC4190 by using SRC4192EVM. Can it be used? If yes, it is needed to replace device only, correct?
2. It seems SRC4190 and SRC4192 are pin compatible and same control settings. The differences are some specs(Dynamic Range and THD+N, etc.). Are there other differences? I think

Best Regards,
Fujiwara

  • The SRC4190 and SRC4192 are both stand–alone, pin–programmed devices, with control inputs for mode, data format, mute, bypass, and low group delay functions. In fact the SRC4190 offers the same functionality as the SRC4192.

Besides the DR and THD differences, the mute attenuation is typically –144dB for the SRC4192 and –128dB for the SRC4190.

You can use the same EVM for both devices.
