PCM1753-Q1: Does the overshoot of SCK and BCK affect the device?

Hi team,

The BCK and SCK pins of the pcm1753 have an overshoot of 7.5V and a downshoot of -1V as below. Does it affect the device?

Hi , Absolute Maximum Ratings for input and supply voltage are mentioned in datasheet as -0.3V to +6.5V. So these numbers seems too high for the device.

If the overshoot and downshoot is in the range of -0.3V to +6.5V, can it be accepted?

Hello Hale,

The absolute maximum ratings indicate the limits that a device can tolerate without getting damaged, so as long as you are not exceeding the above values you should be ok.
