STA013T, C5000 series audio decoding

Hello Team,

We are currently using a STA013T device, however this is not available anymore.

Can we implement an MPEG2 decoding in the C5000 series?

    Hi Wouter,

    The only MPEG audio codec C5000 supported is MPEG-1 layer 3 (MP3). However, you can develop your own MEPG-2 audio decoder on C5000. The C5000 is a 16-bit DSP with Dual MAC capability runs up to 200Mhz.
