TAS5806M: Inquiries about EEPROM

Hello.



I have a question about the EEPROM.

If you look at the TAS5806MEVM, the EEPROM is connected as shown in the picture below.

1. Can I put DATA such as DRC and EQ TUNING in the EEPROM and drag it and use it?

2. On the PUREPATH BOARD side, we plan to control the power and VOLUME basic control DATA.

3. Is it possible to distribute and use the data separately as above?

    hi Ju

    1.we haven't used the Purepath board like that. let me confirm with our team.

    2.do you mean you want to use i2c command send from purepath to control the amp?

    3.i am not very sure how you want to separate.

    usually, our customer can use like below:

    1.initial the amp with initial script by i2c.

    2.after the amp work normally, customer can flash i2c command like volume control to control the command sometimes.
