PCM1789: PCM1789 Parallel hard ware control mode

Part Number: PCM1789

Dear

PCM1789  is hardware mode ,  How to connect A and B hardware corresponding to Zero1 and Zero2? Please review the SCH?  thank!

  • Hi Liu,

You should  use  register d22 (h16). Please refer to page 27 in datasheet for how to set it up. Basically you should use this register and bit AZRO as the following.

    AZRO:  Zero flag combination selection

    0 Combination A: ZERO1 = left channel, ZERO2 = right channel (default)

1 Combination B: ZERO1 = left channel or right channel, ZERO2 = left channel and right channel

As far as schematic goes, please use decoupling caps for all supply voltages similar to VCC1 ( for example you are missing VCC2 completely). I would also use smaller PU/PD resistors if I can. You can refer to user's guide schematic in SBAU154 as a guide.

    Regards,
