TAS2770: Problem with read/write data to address 0x00~0x33

Hello, Team,

Currently our customer is building a demo board using TAS2770 and have some questions.

They want to write data h00, h00, h00, h06 to address 0x00 ~ 0x03. When they read from address 0x02, data is h02 (software shutdown). They used to be able to write h00 successfully. What should they need to check? Is there any possible causes?

Hi Masaru,

the register 0x02 can be set to 0x02 automatically if the device is experiencing some critical interrupt, such as output Overcurrent (short to GND or short between outputs) or a TDM clock error.

You can read these interrupts from register 0x24 - 0x26. check if there is an over current or clock error flag. Or share the values here so I can check.

Hi, Arthur,

For some reason, they are now able to able to write Activate after they wrote "Mute". They will share error logs when they again encounter a situation where they cannot write something.
