TAS5760M: Changing from Stereo to mono? (Stereo BTL Using HW control)

Part Number: TAS5760M

Team,
Can we please help with the belwo question:

We use the amplifier in BTL (stereo) mode (In case needed I can share the TAS5760 portion of the schematic off-line if needed).

However we now need to drive a speaker with less than 4 ohms (minimum resistance per channel in stereo mode).
According to the data sheet section 9.2.3 (Stereo BTL HW crtl here), there is the PBTL (mono) mode, in which the outputs of the bridges can be connected directly in parallel on the TAS5760M.
In the data sheet, a common output filter is then used for the bridges connected in parallel.

-Can you please clarify whether we can activate the PBTL mode without changing our circuit
and carry out the parallel connection at the point marked in red below?
I.e. a parallel connection of the two current stereo channels behind the output filters in order to use the output stage as a mono output stage.

Thanks in advance
Anber
