PCM2906C: VCCCI input voltage threshold

Part Number: PCM2906C

Hi,

The datasheet states that the analog performance of the ADC may be degraded when using an internal voltage regulator.

It seems that the internal voltage regulator turns off when power is supplied externally to the VCCCI pin using an external voltage regulator, but what is the voltage threshold at which it turns off?

I was wonder if you could reply quickly?

Best regards,

Shiga

  • Hi Shiga,

I'm not sure the exact threshold, but the operating conditions in Figure 36 in the datasheet specify a pretty narrow 3.6V-3.85V range. I would not supply lower than 3.6V to avoid conflicting with the internal regulator.

    Best regards,
    Jeff McPherson
