LM4861: LM4861 Noise Issues

Part Number: LM4861

Tool/software:

Hi

I'm using the LM4861 single-ended using the headphone jack for the left channel output. 1.4GHZ_RF close to your device's antenna, the earbuds can hear a distinct sizzling or clicking noise.

Is there a way to fix or reduce the noise. You can also recommend a single-ended output audio amplifier with good EMIRR capabilities.

  • Hi,

Is there a way you can check where in the signal path the noise is coupling in?
My concern is that the noise is coupling at the cable itself going to the headphones If the noise is coupled after the amplifier, it won't really matter how good the amplifier is in terms of EMIRR.
