Tool/software:
We are using the TLV320AIC3106 Codec in our design, the OS is TI Linux (Linaro tool chain, Arago package) on an AM4378 microprocessor and are trying to configure the specific registers associated with the microphone AGC and dynamic audio compression functionality. Do we need to write custom I2C commands to address these registers specifically, or is access to these registers available through higher level functions? We are using ALSA library to currently manage the CODEC.
