TLV320AIC3262EVM-U: Is INL1->ADC->DSP->DAC->HPL routing possible such that the part could be used as an in-line filter or equalizer

Tool/software:

I would like to use the TLV320AIC3262 part to create an in-line filter or equalizer using the INL->ADC->DSP->DAC->LOL/HP path.  
Basically, I want to combine the  "ADC Record IN2L-R" and "HP Playback" configurations into a single configuration that operates concurrently.

Is this possible?  If the necessary routing cannot be achieved internally, can it be done externally?

    Also is this the best IC option for this application?  The IC must also support an 8ohm speaker drive and Headphone output.
    Ideally, I would like a less dense package.

    Hi Terry,

    Yes this device, among many codecs, can support this routing. Whether this is the correct device depends on the type of audio processing your system requires, if your system doesn't require an integrated miniDSP and class-D amplifier among many other features then this IC may be overkill. If you're "DSP" mentioned in your signal flow is the host processor then there are more options available for you.

    In short, there are other audio codecs that support Single-ended inputs with LO and HP outputs in smaller, more cost efficient packages. There are also smaller package codecs with a miniDSP integrated.

    The DSP in my routing question is actually the minDSP within the chip (INL->ADC->minDSP->DAC->LOL/HP). 

    The "MIC Record" and "HP Playback" configurations to work separately, but how would I configure the EVM to pass the MIC input through the ADC->miniDSP->DAC and back out the speaker and headphone outputs?

    I was able to get this routing configured by combining the two example scripts and setting the DAC miniDSP DIn 1: to ADC miniDSP out
