Hi Team,
In PBTL mode, if the speaker is short-circuited during playback, the PVDD (Pin29, 30, 31) will burn out. Why is the protection not activated?

hi,
1.can you share me where you short? short at speaker side? or short at chip side.
2.can this be reproduced stably?
3.base on your pcb figure, i cannot find your c6 and c18. usually this small value bypass cap should be put as closer as to pvdd pin.
otherwise, pvdd ring might lead to chip burn.
4.about the inductor you use, what is the isat cureent for it.
tks
