PCM1681-Q1: TDM8 format support

Hi team, 

I would like to check with you if PCM1681-Q1 support TDM8 input? I don't find it in datasheet. 

If no, please help recommend the device which have 8ch TDM8 input DAC device.

    Hi,

    The PCM1681-Q1 supports TDM input. TDM stands for time division multiplexing, and is a way for digital I2S signals to transmit more than 2 channels at a time. Normal I2S (without TDM) supports up to 2 channels of audio at the given sample rate, and typically TDM modes in any TI DAC will support up to 8 channels at a time. The PCM1681-Q1 supports 8-channel TDM, as described in section 8.3.4 of the datasheet.
