The customer requires 16 channel synchronous sampling. Can it be achieved by cascading 2pcs and how to handle synchronization issues.

Hi,

We can cascade up to 4 PCMD3180 ICs as described in section 7.3.1.3 of the datasheet.

We can use up to 4 different I2C addresses for the device (so up to 4 ICs can be independently programmed from a common I2C bus). We can also share the TDM lines (BCLK/FSYNC/SDOUT) by assigning independent slots to each channel of both devices (the device can support up to 64 slots on the TDM bus).
