Hi experts,

My customer is designing with the PCM1809 in a single-ended input configuration. The input signal is 500mVrms, and they want to increase the gain on the ADC.

Is there any way to increase the gain on the PCM1809 without using an external preamp to convert the single-ended input to differential?

    Hi Jay,

    PCM1809 is pin controlled and does not have the flexibility to increase to increase the gain of the input internally. I would suggest the customer to evaluate the software version of this device TLV320ADC3120 which has an integrated PGA up to 42dB signal gain
