Part Number: TPA2011D1

Tool/software:

If configuring a 3.2W output, please help check if this circuit matches correctly

If there are any areas that need to be modified, please provide detailed instructions on how to make the changes and the reasons for the modifications. Thank you!

  • Hey Tony,

    Here are my comments:

The enable pin here is configured to be constantly high. The nc R101 to the shutdown line is disconnected. Customer needs to understand this device is always powered on with this configuration.

To get an output power of 3.2W, the VDD line source should be 5V. The schematic in this thread shows a source from both 3.8V and SPK_VDD. I suggest supplying a single voltage source to the PVDD and VDD lines here. Below is a performance spec of the output power vs load of the device. At VDD=5V and on lower loads like 4Ohms, the output power is at 3.2W. Any higher and the output power decreases.

For the output, I suggest changing the configuration to match the DS. A 1nF to ground is recommended.

You can also checkout the EVM schematic for an example of how the output terminals were filtered on a board that works. Below is a screenshot from the EVM User Guide.

    Regards,

    Ore.
