TPA2026D2: How to program it with MSP430/CC2652R development board

Hi,

I am just starting with programming with the MSP430 microcontroller. I have done the basic programming of interfacing the sensors with the MSP430 development kit. Now I am working on a project related to Bluetooth audio here as a post-amplifier I have to use TPA2016D2 or TPA2026D2 Class-D amplifiers for Bluetooth functionality I have a development board of CC2652R which is LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 and I want to program TPA2026D2 module with this board. Can someone help me with this? can I program it using the I2C interface?

Yes, you can configure and control the TPA20X6D2 with I2C. I've looped in our software team to help here.

Hi Shenghao,

No, I don't have a PPC3 and am unfamiliar with this tool. I am just now going through the documentation and have also requested access to the tool. Apart from this approach, I already have LAUNCHXL-CC26X2R1 with me and the TPA module. So using CC Studio to define all the registers can I write them over an I2C protocol? And I also wanted to understand what other particular I should consider with this approach.

Nothing from my side, as you know, this tpa2026 is a very simple chips, only 7 registers, I'm sure the time you spent on MSP430 platform is much more than the time spent on tpa2026. If you have some issue from MSP430, kindly consult TI MSP430 team.
