TAS2505-Q1: [AM62x] How to config reference voltage or LD0 register's value in TAS2505-Q1

Part Number: TAS2505-Q1

Tool/software:

Hello TI,

Extend from this ticket, https://e2e.ti.com/support/audio-group/audio/f/audio-forum/1436383/tas2505-q1-am62x-external-amp-tas2505-output-signal-issue/5510319#5510319

We are preparing for Audio turning.

Now, we want to check reference voltage, LDO (?).

We found that by default internally set is 1.8V.

How to confirm it is 1.8v? and how to change it to 1.5v or 1.7v?

It seems register 0x02 is for LDO, so

We try to change register 0x02 but failed. Please guide.

  • Hi Paul,

If the AVDD is supplied by external power, then disable the LDO by LDO_SEL, if need to use LDO for internal 1.8/1.7v... supply, then LDO can be enabled driving the LDO_SEL pin to SPKVDD (Speaker power supply), kindly check below contents of the App notes.

If use LDO, the AVDD/DVDD can be supplied by internal power, the connection just like below:

    Thanks & Best Regards

    Kevin
