From what I understand, if it is sealed in the bag it came in, the humidity indicator card will indicate if the inside of the bag was exposed to moisture. The bags have a 5 year rating but may protect for longer. If it was exposed to moisture, it may need to be re-baked. However, most likely the parts will work just fine after long term storage, the device has been out for 15 years and you are unlikely to have issues with 5+ year old parts if stored correctly.
