I have a customer who is trying to figure out the impact of recent PCNs - would this affect how the device is able to withstand voltage spikes at the input of the device?

Hi Abigail,

The RC4560 will adhere to the abs max conditions in the datasheet. Our recommendation for any electrical over stress on pre or post PCN devices would be to use proper protection such as TVS diodes etc. Violation of the abs max conditions can permanently damage either version. The device has been characterized and tested up to the data sheet conditions.
