TLV320AIC3101: dts entry and driver validation.

Hi team,
we are using Qualcomm's qcm6490 chipset as a master for tlv320aic3101, we are facing an issue with the integration.

can someone confirm this dts entry is correct?, also I am attaching the driver.zip file for tlv320aic3101.

Hi,

Sorry about the delay. As for your DTS entry, this looks fine but you may need to add a sound {} section of your DTS as well. This is dependent on your host computer (your qcm6490). You may already know about this but I like to use the simple-audio-card as an example to start a DTS configuration. You can find it here: https://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/devicetree/bindings/sound/simple-card.txt

Let me know what issues you have with using the codec, any error messages? What are your I2S/I2C connections? I am not an expert in writing dts files but I may be able to help with other integration issues.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply. The issue is that we can not get the MCLK signal even after adding the necessary mi2s and sound node changes in the soc/device-specific device tree changes and driver changes. We have raised a query on Qualcomm's side. Let me get back here if the issue is specific to tlv320aic3101.
