TAS5342A: Comparison with TAS5342LA on “T.H.D. +N vs. Output Power”

I saw the following thread and understood that TAS5342A is an advanced compatible product of TAS5342LA.

However, when comparing the graph of T.H.D. +N vs. Output Power, TAS5342LA seems to be superior in the range of Output Power=2 W to 20 W. Could you tell me why TAS5342LA is superior in this range? Is the internal structure a factor?

Hi Nishie,

The TAS5342LA has a slightly different output stage to accommodate the lower Rds,on that will result in the difference in the datasheet plots.
