PCM6240-Q1: reset Voltage level query

Part Number: PCM6240-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PCM1808-Q1

Tool/software:

No description of the reset voltage size was found in the data sheet for this IC.

Is this IC present? Power supply (BSTVDD, AVDD) is dropped by half and switched back on.

What recovery is required as a component, for example, if it is restored from a low voltage (0.2-0.6 V)?

Is there a fault at this point?

Other ICs will have related requirements, such as the PCM1808-Q1.

The PCM1808-Q1 has an internal power-on-reset circuit ,and initialization (reset)is performed automatically when the power supply (VDD) exceeds 2.2V (typical).

While VDD<2.2V,and for 1024 system-clock counts after VDD>2.2V,The PCM1808-Q1 stays in the reset state and the digital output is forced to zero.

  • Hi,

AVDD and BSTVDD must be stable and >3.0V for proper operation. SHDNZ must be kept low until this supply voltage is stable.

A detailed power-on sequence is given in section 9.2.1.2 of the datasheet. A power supply sequence is given in section 10.
